Distinguished Service Award

The Distinguished Service Award shall be given to the most outstanding NYSCOS member who has contributed above the call of duty. Each chapter may nominate one individual to be considered by the awards committee.

The individual nominated for the award:

1. Must have given at least 10 years of meritorious service to soccer.

2. Must have been connected with and helpful to the New York State Certified Officials of Soccer.

3. Should be known by his/her products, writings, contributions etc.

4. Must be an ardent supporter and contributor to the worth of soccer locally, regionally, and on a statewide basis.

This award shall be presented annually at the NYSCOS state meeting. The awardee shall be our guest with travel expenses reimbursed as necessary.
